He holds a PhD in Social Sciences from the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio (Italy) and is an Adjunct Professor of Political Sociology at the University of Perugia (Italy). He coordinates the Latin America Department at the International Center for Democracy and Democratization at Luiss University (Italy).
